Among Friends Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) meets every Sunday morning at 9:00am in room C215 at Grace Baptist Church (GBC). The class is made up of twenty-to-thirty-somethings with young families. This age group is made up of couples who have been married an average of about eight to nine years. The fellowship begins at 9:00am and the teaching, usually by 9:30am. I’ve been blessed to be their lead teacher for the past three years. Attached here is the teaching schedule.
Of the many ministries at GBC, one I participate in occassionally is the Awana Clubs Ministry for High School aged teens. On specific Monday evenings, you’ll find me teaching the Journey 24/7 group. Another link I maintain to teen ministries is speaking at the annual Summit Leadership Camp at Pine Summit Christian Camps*, in Big Bear, CA.
* Although the camp follows the style of the now defunct Southern California Awana Scholarship Camps, the conference center is run by the Salvation Army. Summit Leadership camp is privately conducted and in now way afilliated with Awana Clubs International.
